Q: ***cars?***?
has anyone seen the new go smart cars? i dont like them. to me it looks like a car that got cut in half. my mom wants to buy one for me. wat do u think of them?

A: I think there an oxymoron. Smart people do not buy them. You would be better off buying Barbies Corvette.

Q: Cars??????????
Hi what is a good website to look at cars and what is a good first car to get? Thankyou.

A: Get a Lada, it would really suit you.

Q: CARS???????????????????????????/?
What’s the same and diffenertance of buying a new car and used car

A: I am skeptical about the idea that new cars have fewer problems than used ones. In fact, I flatly don’t believe it.

However, the new ones are under warranty, so the dealer can monkey around with it a lot and you might not have to pay for it.

Give me a car with the bugs worked out any day.

Q: CaRs…………………?
Whats your Fav sport car? or any other car!
: ))

A: Anything with an Aston Martin badge

Q: How car rental companies move their cars from one location to another?
I am working on an application and need to understand how car rental companies move their cars from one location to another when there are too many cars left by customers at one location. One way is to give dirt cheap one way rental offers to customers originating some specific location. However, I am trying to understand do they use auto transport companies to do this for them? If yes how much business auto transporters get one average from such scenarios?

Also, do car rental companies have some sort of contracts with auto transporters saying they will move rental cars always or on demand basis?

Thanks for your time!

A: Wut about those trucks that carry cars around?

Q: What type of cars are good for guys to drive?
I’m getting a new car and would like some ideas on what type of car a guy would drive. I am not going to get an suv or truck of any kind, just strictly cars. I really like the style, reliability, and price of the ford fusion. I would just like to know whether or not it is a car a guy would drive. I’m thinking about a car around the price of 15,000 to 25,000. Any other ideas on what cars men drive would be great, Much Thanks!

A: You can’t be serious. Just get a car that you like. Guy and girl car thing is so passé and childish.

Q: Do cars burn more gas after a cold start on a wintery morning?
After starting my drive at 5am, I see the smoke coming out of my car in the rear view mirror. The smoke disappears after the engine has reached its normal operating temperature. Similarly one can see smoke at the tail pipe of almost all cars coming out of various subdivisions in the morning. But no car on the highway has a smoke trail behind it. Hence the question – do cars burn more gas after a cold start until engine becomes hot enough?

A: Most cars will have a “high idle” when you first start them on a cold morning. There’s a sensor that checks the temp of the air being sucked into the engine. If that temp is too cold, it makes the engine run a little faster (just as if you had pressed down a bit on the gas pedal) until the engine compartment warms up. So, the difference that you’re probably seeing in the amount of “smoke” (exhaust) before and after your car warms up is simply due to a higher idle, and therefore more exhaust pressure – the hot air is moving faster out into the cold air, so it gets farther before it cools enough to “disappear”.

As for the “subdivision” versus “highway” difference, that’s probably more a matter of speed. For example – if you lit a cigarette (not that I’m encouraging anybody to smoke) and held it up to your window, you’d see more smoke if you were driving slow than if you were driving fast – same effect.

Q: How do you trade cars from owner to owner if both owners have loans on their current cars?
Basically what the question says…

I own a car and the other woman owns a car. We want to trade cars but we are both making payments to the bank at the moment on our current cars. Is there any way to trade our cars that we have?

A: No, you cannot do this legally. And if you make the poor decision to do so, the lender(s) can come take the vehicle(s). This is a violation of the contract.

Several things to consider:

– Insurance MUST remain in the name of the person on the loan.
– You would not be able to register the “new” car in your name.
– If she goes and has a wreck in your car, YOU are liable. If she goes and gets 300 parking tickets, you are paying for them.

Don’t do it.

**** Edit – Folks, you CANNOT just “transfer” names on a loan. It doesn’t work that way. The reason why some of you have never heard of that is because it doesn’t exist as a practice in the banking industry.

Q: Suppose a car can accelerate at 1m/s2. How large a break in traffic is needed to enter a highway where cars?
Suppose a car can accelerate at 1m/s2. How large a break in traffic is needed to enter a highway where cars are moving a 20m/s if the drive wants to avoid forcing the next car to slow down or to approach closer than 25m?

A: Assumptions:

1) The entering car is stopped
2) The entering car begins accelerating as soon as the rear bumper of the car it will fall in behind passes its front bumper.

What distance does it take a car to accelerate from 0 to 20 m/s at a rate of 1m/s²?

1) Final velocity = initial velocity + acceleration * time
2) Distance = initial velocity * time + 1/2 acceleration * time²

Plugging in the known values, the first equation becomes

20 m/s = 0 m/s + 1m/sec² * x

x = 20 sec

Now we can calcuate the second equation

D = 0 m/s * 20 sec + 1/2 * 1 m/s² * (20 sec)²

D = 0 m + 200 m

If we need to keep a 25 m space behind us, that gets added to the necessary distance.

Q: What car or car company makes cars with a sportshift option. Or a sequential sportshift.?
What car or car company makes cars with a sportshift option. Or a sequential sportshift. It is when you have an automatic car, but can kind of be a manual car. What companyies maked cars with this option, or comes standerd.

A: The only car manufacturers that i can think of that use a proper sequential gearbox is Ascari and i think Koenigsegg. Other manufacturers such as Ferrari, Porsche, Audi etc use automated manual transmissions that can be operated by a paddle shift or button system to change gear or can be used as a full automatic.

Q: What would cause cars in a parking lot to all have dead batteries?
In my apartment’s 20 car parking lot, 8 of the cars had dead batteries this morning. I don’t know if it is possible for this to just be a coincidence or what. Maybe the parking lot is draining batteries (jk) or is there something someone can do to drain car batteries? If anyone has any sound reasons for this to be happening let me know. BTW: all the cars are different makes and models.
It isn’t because of maintenance… just to let you know.

A: sometimes your car is having a device that is on and is draining it. You can check that by removing the ground side of the battery cable and touch it to the battery post. If it arcs then you are getting battery drainage and have to find and search why. Or it is not, then you have a dead cell in your battery just enough to drain by the cold mornings. Or a cold day there is not enough amps because of the dead cell. Most cases the battery will need to be replaced. Most battery’s last only a couple of years. Especially the very cheap ones and the ones you get from a new car.

Q: How should two cars turning left in open intersection place themselves?
When the different directions are separated except at the intersection and there’s no stop sign, what are you supposed to do if both cars wait in the middle to turn left…and end up blocking each other’s view ?! How should the cars place themselves? The other car always goes to his side of the middle so he blocks my view to oncoming cars, so I don’t even know when it’s safe to turn.

A: In situations like this, I wait until the way is clear to go into the middle to turn so I don’t end up blocking someone’s way or vice versa. If in doubt, let the other driver go first.

Q: what cars are comparable to the nissan maxima?
Within the next year I am planning on getting a new car. I really like the Nissan Maxima, but I would really like other cars to compare it to. What other cars are comparable to the Nissan Maxima, as far as price, quality, appearance, etc….

Any advice is helpful!

A: Honda Accord EX V6, Mazdaspeed 6, Volkswagen Passat,

Q: What cars in a train typically contain bombs in a terror attack?
I commute using mass transit in the NYC area and was wondering in all the terror attacks on mass transit across the world what are the most popular cars in a train to get attacked? The first? The last car? All the cars at the same-time? Answers from professionals are welcome

A: An attacker will typically choose the most crowded cars. However – they frequently will go with the flow of the crowd when entering cars to plant the bomb because their main priority will be to avoid being noticed.

The really sad thing is that the NYPD screwed up the investigation and tipped off the suspects while we were still gathering information. As a result – terrorists are going to have to be released because they were able to destroy evidence before the search warrants were processed.

Q: Whats the difference between new and used cars?
I mean, if you buy a used car you need to pay for things like regular maintenance, car repairs, insurance, gas, vehicle plate and sticker fee, and fuel. But if you buy a new car, you don’t need to pay for car repairs right? How much are car repairs for a used car?
And also if you have time:
How many liters of gas can the Hyundai Accent, Kia Spectra, and Chevrolet Aveo cars respectfully hold?

A: New cars – can allways finance it (pay for it monthly, some used cars you cant do that)
-Dont have to worry bout it breaking down
-has a warranty
-looks way better
-insurance will be better (because it wont be breaking down as much as a used one)

Used cars- Not allways have the choice of financing
-could break down without knowing
-usually has no warranty, if so, little
-parts will start to fall off easier
-depending on car, insurance can be expensive
-Used car salesmen are taught and trained to lie so that you buy the car thinking nothing is wrong with it until the next day stuff starts breaking. (Use craigslist to buy a used car not a dealership for this reason)

In conclusion: If your looking for good insurance – NEW
If your looking for a nice fresh look – NEW
If your looking for a good price – USED
If your looking for a reliable car – NEW or craigslist used
If your looking for a Warranty – NEW
If your looking for financing – NEW

I would get a new car but a low year like 2007 instead of the 2009’s or 10’s
good luck finding a car!!!
